The Academy
At the Academy of Dental Assisting you receive thorough training to be ready to hit the ground running as a dental assistant. Dentistry is hands-on and that is the primary method of learning the skills necessary to be a valuable employee for a dentist. Graduates of the Academy have a reputation for being well-trained and confident in their skills. That turns into landing a good job that pays well.
Imagine learning how to make a dental impression and then doing it in the same day. That's how we teach at the Academy. We can do that because the class size is one student--you. You can't find more individualized instruction than that. You're not looking over someone's shoulder trying to see what's going on. You're not standing in line waiting your turn. As soon as you know the material and the opportunity in the real live dental clinic arises, then you get the hands-on experience.
As you learn a skill, you build upon it to learn a related but more advanced skill. Like climbing stairs, before you know it, you're at the top! There's no pressure, either. You only do things when you feel you are ready. The staff is always there to back you up.
There are no classrooms or lectures at the Academy of Dental Assisting.
Dental assisting deals with people. You will learn people skills that you can apply to your career and your personal relationships.
